M. Troy Lewis, AIA, Principal

Troy Lewis, AIA, founded Lewis Associates Architects in 1994 on the principle of great architectural design and delivering client satisfaction through open communication and responsive service to everyone involved. With over 35 years of practice and experience in the industry, he continues to be hands on throughout every phase of a project with emphasis on Building Design, Code Compliance, Contract Administration, Construction Documents, Construction Administration, and Project Management.

Troy’s experience as project manager in the architecture department for Conoco allowed him to gain extensive knowledge of operational and system design requirements for petrochemical, industrial & downstream facilities. His understanding of the goals and needs of this specific client base has continued with additional design work for ConocoPhillips, Farmland Energy Service, Koch Hydrocarbon, Inc., Sinclair Oil Corp., and Suncor Energy.

Since opening the firm, Troy’s dedication to providing great client service has created a long lasting, working relationship with the City of Ponca City and the Ponca City Public Schools. With the majority of the school projects being remodels or additions with bond money restraints, he has assisted the school district in evaluating, prioritizing, and estimating projects needed to be completed to make Ponca City Public Schools’ facilities some of the best in Oklahoma.

In addition to his experience and service, Troy’s leadership and management skills have opened Lewis Associates Architects’ door to new clients and project types.

Troy received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University in 1978 and is a Licensed Architect in Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, Montana, and Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, International Code Council, the Safety Assessment Program, a previous Board Member of AIA Oklahoma, and an active member in his church and community.
